"In Solidarity: Living, Making, Together" / "En Solidaridad: Viviendo y haciendo juntos" was a project by the class Design for the Living World at HfBK Hamburg. It took place in February and March of 2017 in Mexico City and Querétaro as part of the Goethe Institut's initiative "Mexibility – We are in the city, we cannot leave it
(Estamos en la ciudad, no podemos salir de ella)".
"In Solidarity" was comprised of four intersecting projects with different local initatives and residents. It also included three roundtable as well as an exhibition at Muca-Roma in Mexico City. The topics explored and discussed within the project(s) included solidarity economies, working and living collectives, resilient neighborhoods as well as the concepts of right to the city and buen vivir.
