"Heile Welt" is a series of porcelain plates.
What may seem like a product ready to use is actually an object doomed to failure.

I started out by questioning the way that planned obsolesce keeps on becoming an accepted part of our everyday life. Since this was my first time working in ceramics I had to learn that porcelain is a material that has quite a character and may even refuse to break at the right time or in the right way.
"Heile Welt"
is a German idiom. Taken literally, it means something like "world in one piece" - meaning that people pretend that life is just fine even though things are actually quite terrible if you take a closer look at them.
